Virtua Technologies is a firm believer in empowering the youth to strengthen innovation and education in our community and is thus a proud sponsor of the Namibia University of Science and Technology 2020 Academic Awards.
Virtua Technologies funds the Omayambeko Hope Foundation (OHF), a youth empowerment and community development organisation based in Windhoek, Namibia. Today's youth are faced with social problems ranging from poverty and unemployment, to sexual and domestic violence, alcohol and drug abuse, and crime and corruption.
Through mentoring and training initiatives, Omayambeko Hope Foundation gives young people between the ages of 13 and 35 access to the opportunities, skills and resources they need to actualise their potential and improve their lives and the lives of others in their community.
