Toivo Katuta
EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
Toivo is co-founder and Executive Chairman of Virtua Technologies bringing more than 15 years of executive experience with leading IT vendors to Virtua Technologies. As the executive chairman of Virtua Technologies, Toivo is responsible for ensuring operational excellence through the boosting of revenue and performance, while mitigating risks by overseeing policies and procedure enforcement, employee management and financial metrics. Toivos other executive positions include being the managing director of Namibia’s Elevators and Escalators, which specializes in the supply, installations, maintenance, modernization and servicing of elevators,
escalators, moving walks and platform lifts and now proudly has the largest market share in Namibia.
Toivo is also the company director of a 100% Namibian owned company in the construction and infrastructure industry, and under his executive leadership the company has completed comprehensive construction and successful handover of buildings. Furthermore, Toivo is also co-founder of a microlending company which has numerous branches across Namibia and helps empowers Namibians in their financial journeys. As a result of his entrepreneurial and executive leadership skills in all his various companies has led to job creation for over 150 Namibians and helps with the nation building vision of Vision 2030, Toivo has been inducted to the Namibia Business Hall of Fame on the 2 nd November 2018. Toivo prides himself in being a philantropreneur which lead to him co-founding Omayambeko Hope Foundation, a highly reputable organization that helps to empower young people to become leaders by providing mentoring services, and coaching on self-esteem and career development. Omayambeko also makes a valuable contribution to the fight against poverty and social exclusion in connection with unemployment, abuse and health issues.
Ananias Uushona
Chief Operating Officer
A Namibian businessman, philanthropist, IT investor and innovator, and co-founder of Virtua Technologies. Having worked for huge multi-National companies in Africa the likes of MTN Business, Telkom SA, Dimension Data, MWEB, Africa-Online including one of the local Privately owned ISP Internet Technologies Namibia (Paratus Telecom), his passion for adding value to the Namibian IT industry saw him spearhead the creation of anIT Company with a comprehensive list of IT services and solutions. As a Certified Network Expert with more than 10 years of experience in the IT industry, he expertly navigates the management of Virtua’s operations and client relations. Our clients rely on his project management and business development skills for IT solutions perfectly engineered to meet their specific business and technical needs.
